Learning Support

Learning Support

We are firmly of the belief that learning support is the responsibility of every teacher and classroom assistant and so we take a very holistic view of provision.

  • Regular staff training – Our Head of Support for Learning delivers regular training to staff and holds frequent meetings to discuss individual needs and strategies.
  • Consultant Educational Psychologist – We have a Consultant Educational Psychologist who advises us when drawing up Individual Education Plans to ensure that that they are effective, and targets are SMART and achievable.
  • Tailored support – Girls are given extra support individually or in small groups, in the classroom or in tuition rooms to enable them to achieve their individual goals. Whether they need help to understand a particular topic or to find the key to open the door to understanding, our team is there to support and encourage them.
