A number of productions are staged each year in both Prep and Senior School and have recently included Mary Poppins, Olivia, Romeo and Juliet, and a glorious Key Stage 1 adaptation of the Pirates of Penzance – Molly and the Pirates.  Drama is an important part of school life, giving the girls the opportunity to experiment and explore, teaching them empathy, creativity and expression.  All girls, not just those studying GCSE and A level, have the opportunity to take part in Stage Directions, our Drama Club, to be prepared for LAMDA qualifications or to take Speech and Drama lessons.  Many trips to live performances are organised throughout the year and we have an annual joint performance with the nearby boys’ school.  Whether on stage or behind the scenes, every girl has a part to play.
