The SMA run a Nearly New Uniform Shop at school. The shop is open twice a month early in the morning and in the afternoon to sell uniform and to take in unwanted items of uniform to sell on. The sale dates vary and are well publicised to parents in advance. The dates for the year 2011-12 can be downloaded here or obtained from the the school office on 01753 883370. There is also some information about the sales here. We would also like to draw your attention to the Attach-a Tag system for labelling clothing and bags, for which we receive 10% commission from the suppliers for every order. SMA Events

Each year we hold a number of different events to raise money to provide additional equipment for the school.
The annual Frost Fair in November has a wide variety of stalls, both from our classes and from outside stallholders. Santa's grotto is very popular as are the delicious homemade soup and turkey baps.
The Middle School discos, held in Autumn, Spring and Summer are well attended and we welcome pupils from nearby Thorpe House too.
Our 'Secret Event' - a Mothers' Day Sale in February for girls from Nursery to Year 7 is great fun and the Easter Egg Hunt for Junior House girls in March causes great excitement. Everyone manages to find an egg for themselves and we also give eggs to every girl in Senior House too, so no-one is forgotten.

Our Fun Day is held in June after Junior House Sports Day. The wide variety of stalls and activities are enjoyed by everyone. We have had a hoopla Wii competition, bouncy castles and visits from baby animals from a local farm, including some lovely Shetland ponies, baby goats and ducklings.

We often hold themed evening events for parents too. The James Bond Casino and Dance evening was great fun in 2010. Guests came dressed as characters from James Bond and we had several casino tables where everyone could try their luck. In 2011 we had a Bollywood dinner dance evening where everyone dressed in Indian style and we had a wide array of delicious Indian food.
