Co-Curricular (Key Stage 1)

Co-Curricular

Enrich the classroom experience

Because education is about so much more than lessons in the core subjects we enrich the classroom experience in Years 1 and 2 with a range of extracurricular activities, day trips and wider learning and experience opportunities.

Range of extracurricular activities

From instrumental tuition to Ballet and drama lessons, tennis coaching to art, we have a range of clubs to appeal to all and to encourage even our youngest girls to discover skills and talents beyond the curriculum.

Expanded learning

Because it is important to bring learning to  life and enable the girls to apply their learning and discover more about the world outside school we actively support  learning with relevant, additional experiences such as a visit from an author or a nurse, town planners with boxes of Lego, giant bugs or an interactive theatre show.

The wider world

Venturing beyond the school gate the girls may go behind the scenes at a local supermarket or restaurant, travel into London to visit museums and exhibitions or explore the natural world at the zoo or study field centre.
